Contest Entry, Hidden Paradise

Color IR (digital)

There's no hidden message. No secret meaning to the piece. Just simply a work that I find beautiful...whether it is beautiful to others or not is questionable, but hopefully I've done a good job with expressing the scene in such a manner.

Beautiful, just beautiful! I love the colours, the clouds, and the spectacular reflections in the stunning silvery water. The white of the leaves and the clouds looks striking against the deep blue in the sky and water. You have succeded in your intensions with this image. :+fav:

In my mind my dreams are real,
Are you concerned about the way I feel?
:iconandross01:
Thank you! I appreciate the compliments  I'm glad my intentions were met with a few people :)

Yup. It's a simple post edit. The trees have a magenta hue while the sky and other elements have a blue color to 'em, so I just desaturate the red/magenta channels pretty much.

Yeah! I saw the clouds on my way home and was thinking that they were PERFECT. So, I had the D50, had free time on my hands, the sun was out completely...

A perfect day for infrared :)
