yo man, i have a d200 aswell.
what equipment do you use for your infrared photography? because i really dig it but heard d200s are that great for it (which clearly, by your photos, is not the case.)

D200s aren't great for it in the sense you need a 30 second exposure in sunny weather at f/5.6-f/8, ISO100

But aside from that, they work fine. I tend to use the long exposure to my advantage.
